Dancing flight attendants on board
Adding to the fame of the Cebu Dancing inmates, another “innovation” from Cebu has emerged. This time they brought it up literally on air as Cebu Pacific flight attendants give the flying public something to watch out for during the pre-flight orientation. People’s interest is now awakened as they add interest in the boring demonstration. Well all know that this part of the flight is important so it is really important that they tried to spice it up.
A very refreshing demonstration indeed!

How to catch up on your favourite US TV shows?
While it is good that ETC has this Match Airing program where it shows the latest episodes after their US telecast, I still cannot catch up with my favourite shows. I am still missing Gossip Girl, Glee and TMZ. I hope that I could still catch up on them soon. Talk about delayed gratification.

The art of strategizing
While we are still on the road of recovery in relation to our economic status, one has to think of other ways to boost her income.
I am thinking of venturing into other profession like what my friend did. He enrolled himself to a makeup artist school and he is now a professional makeup artist to celebrities and models.
I am looking at the profile of Regency Beauty InstituteRegency Beauty Institute and I found out that for over 50 years, it has been considered as the fastest in the US. It provides an exceptional education to benefit the students, the salon community and the public. It provides high-quality, discounted salon services to the public which is expertly supervised by its own faculty.
As it has placed relationships from salons to cruise ships and runways, its graduates are recognized and sought after all throughout the US.

A very tiring routine
My 2 month critical care training course has just started and I am feeling that the tiring route is crawling up my neck causing difficulty to breathe. Attending the lecture from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm then head straight to my shift that is supposed to be 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm is would really burn every calorie in your cell.
I have so much on my plate, I have I could finish it all off.

Disconnecting my connection
After forgetting to pay for our cable service leading to its disconnection comes the internet broadband service. I slept in the dorm the other night and before I left the house, I was still able to connect to the internet. Tonight, when I got home from the dorm, I noticed that I can no longer connect to the internet and later found out that my service was disconnected.
I found out that like my cable service, I forgot to pay my internet connection. Aaargh!

Sunshine Corazon on Glee
Filipinos and Gleeks went gaga over Charice’s appearance
on the pilot episode of Glee’s second season.
Charice played Sunshine Corazon who’s foreign exchange student from the Philippines. I am really happy about this because she was not made to play any other Asian race other than a Filipino.
Well her acting needs some polishing but her vocal prowess is undeniably breathtaking. She does not have to hit the high notes to be hailed. In fact, I admired her most on her sing off with Rachel Berry in the bathroom enough to shake Berry to her core.
Hope to see and hear more of her. I noticed that her dialogues are one liner. Lines can be rehearsed so I don’t see any problems nailing the delivery of long lines.

The best and the worst
In anticipation of my critical care course that will start on the 27th that will last for about two months, I am trying to prepare myself physically, mentally and emotionally. I also have to prepare my finance as I have to stay in the dorm during this period so I have to spend some cash for my meals and for internet credits. I also plan to get p90x to help me prepare for this gruel some part of my nursing career.

Building vs straining
As we ran hard to finish some good three laps, I felt that my thighs and torso were starting to get tight. I know that my muscles are being stretched but I made sure that they were not pushed to their limits. I do want to build muscle around my thighs and torso but I think it would take a serious amount of time. I am willing to take it slowly rather than to strain my muscles.

Burn baby burn!
Our jogging session happened yesterday. We started around 7:30 pm and ended a little past 9:00 pm. We were all sweaty. I was able to finish three laps around the UP oval. Running three laps on UP grounds is equivalent to any Fastest working weight loss pillsFastest working weight loss pills available in the market. I burned enough calories to make room for the carbs that I took in after the fun run.

Locked out
My co staff nurses decided to give ourselves a breakfast treat at Delifrance inside our hospital compound after our night shift.
After more than an hour of giggling we parted ways and I decided to sleep in the dorm. The door was partly open when I arrived but no one was inside so I decided to just leave my things there and left the door the way I saw it. I hit the shower bringing just the robes and toiletries. I returned to our room feeling refreshed and ready to lie flat on bed when I found out that the door was already locked! I tried knocking but no one answers. I told myself, no one was left inside. I had no choice but to go to the reception area in robe and asked the guard if she saw any of my room mates went out. She said that they have left. Too bad they did not notice that my stuff were still there that I just went to the shower room. The guard just told me to ask for the help of the janitress if she can force open the door.
So I did but her efforts did yield any positive outcome. She decided to phone one of my room mates in her ward and lucky for me that she was there. The ward was in the other building but the janitress did not mind going there.
When she arrived, I was already sitting at the doorstep half asleep. Good thing she had the key with her.
She’s my savior.

An education upgrade
I came across with patients who are in the or have retired from the US military service. Being busy bees all their life they won’t seem to stop at resting on their laurels. They have mentioned about pursuing their college degree online. They were mentioning about the available research degrees online that will allow them to advance their military career or to prepare their exit from the service. The MilitrayDegree.com allow for learning through on-campus degree or via online. They give programs tailored to US Military personnel as well as their families. The good thing about is is that education benefits in the military can be used to pay for their tuition and discounts are also given to active personnel and veterans.

Heavenly sinful
The other day, I was craving for Red Ribbon’s Chocolate Mousse.
Since I did not bring enough money on my duty, I had to delay my gratification. Last night, I asked my sister to phone Red Ribbon to have the piece of cake delivered but to my dismay, the delivery in our area is only until 7:00 p.m.
Today, I decided to fulfil my craving. Instead of ordering on the phone, I decided to head for the nearest Red Ribbon store.
Browsing on the cake shelf, my eyes landed on Chocolate Heaven.
According to its description, it is a combination of four kinds of chocolate goodness in every mouthful - chocolate brownie, mousse, ganache and curls. I am not sure though of the types of chocolate it used by I am telling you it’s worth the try. It is not too sweet and I got the mousse that I have been craving for.
Very sinful but who cares when indulgence would bring you to the heavens?

My perfect Pad Thai
For the second time, tried making Pad Thai but this time, instead of preparing the old school sauce, I decided to get an instant Pad Thai sauce.
I used the usual ingredients such the onion, onion leaf, garlic, ground peanut, togue or bean sprouts, tofu, eggs, rice noodles and chicken breast. There are also wedges of lemon to garnish.
The result was way better than my first attempt. Served with pink lemonade, perfect!

The major movement
I dropped by my former office to get the perfume I ordered from my friend there. I noticed that the ground floor no longer houses the Smart Business Center. I learned that it has been converted to the administration and Human Resources offices. The office furniture were transferred from the 8th floor to the ground level. It is part of the cost cutting measures my former office is taking.

Giving them the dose of their own medicine
Ever heard of the Accutane Case? Accutane is a form of vitamin A that is used to treat severe cystic acne. t is usually given after other acne medicines or antibiotics have been tried without successful treatment of symptoms which are sold in both oral and topical applications.. However, there have been recorded side effects of accutane such Crohn’s Disease, inflammatory bowel disease and ulcerative colitis. Because of these serious side effects, Accutane was taken off the market in 2009.
If you think you have incurred any of the above side effects, you could talk to the professional team that will assist you with your concerns which will help you file an Accutane Lawsuit.

They arrived on time, finally!
Last week, in preparation for the Asian premiere of Camp Rock The Final Jam on Disney Channel, I ordered pizza at Shakey’s. My niece loves pizza.
The rider came in 10 minutes late and I was just bluffing him that he was late and living up to their tag line: if it’s late it’s free, the rider did not ask for my payment. I felt guilty but then again, it was their promo.
Today, having all the family members in the house, I decided to order again at Shakey’s. We were teasing that if the Shakey’s people would learn that I had three instances of free pizza delivery already, they might bake the pizza on mobile just to get it to our doorstep in time.
The pizza arrived on time but what we’ve noticed about the pizza is that they are a bit oily and the crusts were not well cooked as they easily break when lifted from the box.
Anyway, it still tastes good.

Reliving the UP legacy
After the disappointing defeat in the 2009 UAAP Pep Squad completion, the University of the Philippines Fighting Maroons Pep Squad has done it again.
The maroons have claimed, yet again, its top spot on the pep squad pyramid at the 2010 UAAP Cheer Dance Competition held this afternoon at the Araneta Coliseum.
Wowing the spectators with their breathtaking stunts and killer dance moves, they have brought the bar in cheering dancing competition a notch higher. Their usual ethnic themed music, they gave it with a reggae touch that perfectly matched their synchronized gymnastics and acrobatic moves.
This is something that the fighting maroons are good at.

The golden treasure
I have said here more than a thousand times the thing about investment. You do not have to like gold stuff to invest in it. Why not try buying gold bullion which I think is very timely. You could select between coin and ingots. What on earth are Ingots? They are simply gold ingots from pure bullion which is cast in size and shape that is handy.
The US Gold Bureau has given its commitment to serving your precious metal investment needs, you could be assured that your investment will reap its rewards in the future.
So, when the opportunity to earn comes your, way will you let go of it? Although the earning may not be tangible at an instant, you can foresee a good return of investment.

Getting the squeeze
Regardless of my schedule the following day, my usual sleeping time at home is 12:00 mn or 1:00 am. After having my daily dose of TMZ, I switch my channel to TV5’s Juicy. For some reason, while I am not interested in local news, there is something inside of me that screams showbiz. Though I don’t like Cristy Fermin, the main host, I like how they are open to discussing matters involving artists outside their network. There are no holds barred even in making remarks about artists and they have no qualms about mentioning the show in other networks or the product a particular artist endorsing.
The show is catching a good share of viewership that it was moved to a day time slot and being replayed still before midnight.
It is a good way for me to get myself to sleep. LOL.

The right to grieve
I was watching a local showbiz news program and I learned that an Indie film won a struggling director an award. It was about an identity switch of two dead persons. The error in identification was discovered upon relatives’ claim for a life insurance which was immediately resolved after thorough investigation. I can just imagine the shock in the faces of the relatives learning that they grieved on the wrong person.

An oily morning
Here are the details of our breakfast fiesta at Bellore Restaurant on Examiner St. All-you-can eat is offered daily from 6:30 am til 10:00 am at P135 per head. The promo comes with a glassful of orange juice.
It was almost 10:00 am and as expected the food on the buffet table is almost gone. We just contained ourselves with what is left of their offerings: fried danggit, tuyo, fried talong, omelette, baloney, Vienna sausage and chicken adobo. All the oily stuff in one sitting. After an hour of gluttony, I invited them to swing by the nearest grocery to grab some sweets to neutralize the grease that I think was stuck in my throat.
I honestly enjoyed our chitchat at the grocery store more than the food that we had at Bellore. I told them to try the all-you-can eat breakfast buffet at a restaurant next to it.

Rising to the occasion
In anticipation of natural calamities, I noticed that builders are starting to use metal as they framework for skyrise buildings. It is a trend that even small-rise buildings are also using this type of framework.
I noticed that one of the chain of beauty salons at the corner of Espana Blvd and Vicente Cruz is being renovated into metal building. I think aside from its durability, metal buildings are cost efficient.

Achooooo!
My old self has come back. I have been experiencing allergic attacks when I get up from sleep. It does not have to be in the morning since my schedule is varies. Runny nose, watery eyes , sneezes and headache start my day.
My doctor asked me if I need a medicine for it but I told him that I can still keep up with it. I am tired of taking medications.

Payback time
It was a chaotic shift. I had four admissions, two of which are for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. The orders and necessary things to be done are drowning me. I was really thankful for having with me on duty two of the most industrious and reliable bedside nurses.
The senior one took responsibility and making the 24-hour check on his patients’ chart and he also finished the logbooks that I had to accomplish. The junior one on the other hand helped me in covering for my other patient.
As token of appreciation, I treated them to an all-you-can-eat breakfast at Bellero Restaurant on Examiner St. West Triangle, QC.
