Did he or did he not?

I hailed a cab right after my check up with my doctor past 9:30 a.m. yesterday. As I boarded the cab, the driver was already tuned into DZMM. Ted Failon, a popular radio and TV commentator here in the Philippines is hosting his daily show. He is in fact playing a game with a contestant over the phone. I can still recall the Isang sakong bigas (one sack of rice) and mahiwagang backpack (mysterious backpack) prize as being stated by contestants.
It took me less than 20 minutes to get to the office. I punched in at 9:53 p.m.
I went straight to the gym after my duty and when I got home I got scanned for TV show that might interest my while lying down. I need to elevate my feet to prevent swelling.
I chanced upon a local channel and learned that Failon’s wife is in the ICU due to gunshot in the temple. It was said that his wife committed suicide but some authorities look at foul play angle.

The bullet entered his wife's left temple which meant she used her left hand if she fired the gun at herself but the gun was found on the floor on her right side. Also, there are powder burns in the hair which should not happen according to the cops when suicide via gunshot happens.

As much as I don’t want to get involved, Failon is one of the very few local news and public affairs person that I am fond of.

He makes me laugh or smile whenever I hear him but I am not a big one. I just enjoy hearing him.

I am trying to dish the idea that he’s got ill motives against his wife.

I will just let the authorities do their work and wait for the result of the investigation.

I wish him and his family peace of mind.

update: Trina (Failon's wife) was pronounced dead around 8:00 p.m. last night.

I need a webhost

For quite sometime I have been thinking of getting a webhosting service. Seriously, I have purchased a domain already and my next step is to get a webhost.

Given the fact that I am not a techno savvy person, I need web hosting choice that will guide me through setting up and maintaining my website.

With this in mind, I tried to do my part in asking around from friends who are already availed of webhosting service. I also searched on some sites that house different webhost companies.

There is this site that offers free research guide to help users choose the right web host for their personal or business website.

This site has gathers only the highest rated webshoting sties in the industry, focusing on affordability, reliability, uptime and tech support.

What is good about this site is it will show you the 4-1-1 of webhosting. I mean I do not intend to be bombarded with technical jargons. I just need to be equipped with the information that I need in keeping my website. The good thing about this site is that it also offers 24/4 after sales support to that you could be assured that you will be guided through.

I have tried clicking on the top choice I might consider its service. I just have to make some queries.

Freaky Friday

As I was walking on my way to the jeepney stop, I passed a group of by-standers on the street. Within earshot I heard a middleaged man comment: Wala naman kame sakit ah, bakit ka nagtatakip?
This really ticked me off as how some people seem to be insensitive of others' situation.
If I had a choice, why on earth would I submit myself to a seemingly freak show wearing mask walking on the street?
I just hope they'd remain in the pink of health. If they are.

A great getaway

It’s springtime! After a whole year of working hard, have you thought of giving yourself some R and R?

I am thinking of weekend getaway or the long-awaited Family Vacations white sand beach, laid back yet homey ambience and delectable food that will surely satisfy your gastronomic cravings.

All these away from the hustle and bustle in the city.

Sensuality and seclusion, these are the operative words that come in to my mind imagining myself on the white-sand beaches of Riviera Maya and checking into Karisma Hotels.

From the name of itself, I could just imagine its -level cuisine that is served in sleek and sensual sit-down locales and fashion-forward bars.

For a foodie like me, this is more than just buffet meal. It’s the experience that you will cherish with your loved ones.

Family Vacations are really important.
