Since Friday, I have been craving for Lechon Manok (roast chicken) so yesterday I asked 3 of my teammates if they want to buy one for lunch and will part the chicken into quarter. It’s really satisfying. We ate our parts with massive amount of rice plus coke zero!
The life!
Now, I have to deal my water retention problem. It occurred to me right after my sister scolded me that the chicken was marinated in a gazillion amount of sodium!
Good thing Lasix comes handy.

Rick vs Dick
This is just crazy!
I must confess, for over a year now, I am addicted to celebrity gossip (I am a real gossip girl after all LOLers) and I get the juice from Perez. There is not a day that would pass without me opening his website. This is my guilty pressure. At least it’s not fattening.
I was just surprised that this third world stint landed on his site.
As I have numerously said here, foreign artists whose careers are dawning or have completely dawned on them go here to the country to earn some bucks by getting some gigs belting the songs they have been known for.
Well Avril was here this week. But her career is just dawning.
Let’s talk a sensation circa 80s.
It’s Rick Astley.!
The brit.
Our local comedian, Roderick Paulate, known for his gay portrayals on TV and in the movies has been and is still a big fan of Astley’s.
I remember when I was a kid seeing him imitate Astley.
Seeing this clip on Perez (inked to Youtube) made me literally snort.
What the heck? It’s cute though.
Oh and Petula Clark will also perform here in October. I’m sorry but I don’t’ know who she is. I just saw the ad on TV.

Holiday and restday
I woke up at ten and went straight to the shower. My usual practice.
But since my "body shots" was over, I tried to play it down a bit. Usually, I just grab the coffee from the brewer pour it in my thermos and consume it wherever I was headed to.
Late last week, I have been practicing sitting at the breakfast table enjoying my cereals and my Benguet coffee.
Same routine this morning.
It's a holiday today. Geez, I don't know what exactly we're observing because our commander-in-chief loves shuffling holidays to have very long weekends to promote local tourism. Well and good for those living the normal 9-to-5 life.
Oh well anyhoo, my niece was scanning all the channels on cable and when she passed by Disney, I said: Oh Camp Rock with my not so callcenter-ish accent. Then she said in a correcting manner: Kahmp...Kehmp!
Kids, how can they be so annoyingly cute? Haha
I wish I had stayed home since it's my restday. Yeah, it's my restday and it's a holiday. It's so unfair when people at the office got a 5-day work week and one day of it is paid premium while I was among those who also got a 5-day work week but won't get any premium pay because one of my restdays fell on a holiday.
Anyhoo again, I decided to render a 4-hour over time so I could still get a premium pay. One financial advice that I am trying to live up to is that if I want something like new clothes, shoes or a salon treatment, I have to work extra or get a sideline job and spare my salary.
So there!
For what it is worth, I've got myself some "loots" to try on plus I had mani and pedi.
The life!

Caramel Macchiato
Mitch and I took a raincheck on the surfing spree today.
I received a text from Joie that there are no waves in Zambales so they will be heading to La Union which is about 5 hours drive from Manila.
I know that Mitch was so excited about it and I was really apologetic because I'm not willing to travel that far. I might as well go straight to Baguio which I miss very much. 'Glad that Mitch is not mad. I told her that we shall be hitting the waves in Zambales soonish!
We just decided to have a coffee at Starbucks Gateway since Anna's ride to home was just around the
area.
I ordered my all time fave, hot Caramel Macchiato. Since, Mitch let me use her gift certificate, I just added P25.00 for the tall one. So I decided to get us some sweet treat which is the Chocolate cake (Geez, i forgot to get the complete name!). The cake was divine! It's not too sweet yet it's delicious.
