To fight for your right

I have a friend who lives in the US who is so scared about making transactions via the internet. He feels so unsecured suspecting that someone might hack into his account or that the concerned online company might give his information away to someone else between 1987 and 2000.
He knows well about the Transunion Settlement. It is about the TransUnion credit reporting company which illegally sold some confidential credit information to target marketing companies all over the US.
In the US disclosure of personal information is considered as a direct violation of the Federal Credit Reporting Act.
Some are still awaiting the justice to be served.
At this time, there is one company that expertly handles even the most complex TransUnion claims. O’Hanlon, McCollom & Demerath houses skilled attorneys who find disclosure of personal information unacceptable and who will stand for the victims’ rights.
If you are one of those who have filed issues against TransUnion, you may try to fill out their intake form for a free consultation.

An unfinished business

Before hitting the jail, Lindsay has started on working on her newest skin art but unfortunately it was not completed before she was locked up.
It appeared to be a bruise on the inner part of her left arm but if you’ll take a closer look you’ll figure that it is a head of a little girl with her eyes closed. According to a source, she choose the design because she liked the innocence of the little girl. She reportedly had it at the Shamrock Social Club tattoo salon in Hollywood.

Crashing about crash cart

There was an auditing of our crashcart made by the Central Supply group and we were surprised and surprised to learn that there are missing or unreplaced item in it totalling to P4000+.
We are now in the process of completing the items there instead of shelling out the huge amount. Hopefully we could complete them all in time for the next auditing.

Relying on yourself

Fresh from the SONA, almost all of the statements pertain to the expose about the past administration’s anomalous transactions and appointments. Little did P-Noy discuss how he sees the Philippines from there.
Anyway, as one of the Filipinos said in her interview about the SONA, we should not rely on what the president has to offer. Each of us has his own cross to bear and with that, I would say that we better do something for our present and future.
I have been saying time and again about the need to invest in something. If you are into gold stuff, try to buy gold bullion which I think is very timely.
You could choose between coin or ingots. Ingots are gold ingots of pure bullion cast in a handy size and shape in general.
Since the US Gold Bureau is committed to serving precious metal investment needs, you could be assured that your investment will reap its rewards in the future.

The first SONA

Today is the first state of the nation address or SONA of President Noynoy Aquino. Unlike the past regimes, today is neither a national nor a special holiday. Well there’s exception to this since it is an official holiday in the Commonwealth and Batasan areas where the location of SONA will be held.
I am just appalled to see that there are packs of protesters around the area. It’s still a few days shy to his first month of term yet there are already people showing their sentiments against P-Noy’s leadership.
My two cents is, give the man a chance! He needs some support.

A constant reminder

How many people have told you that in this tough economic time, you should think more than twice before dishing out a dime.

I have been constantly getting this crawler luring me to buy gold coins instead of jewellery or precious stones.

Now that the US Gold Bureau has allowed for the delivery or convenient and safe storage at any bank or depository of your choice. I am thinking that since gold purchase is has been one of the best forms of investments, it might be the right time for anyone capable to try it. Even in the olden times. Egyptians, Greeks and Romans have placed a great deal of interest in gold. It has been proven to have the ability to diversify investments, protect and for being able to preserve and intensify person’s purchasing power.

Pink, hurt in an accident

Pink was hurt in her concert in Germany.
Known for her daring number (remember her flying cum showering number in the 2010 Grammy's?), Pink was supposed to fly on a harness but accidents happen.
The harness crew in charge of operating Pink’s stunt did not get the cue from Pink that there was a problem with the harness one of the dancers trying to pun on her.
Pink and her dancers were pulled hard infront of the stage with Pink and the other dancer hitting the metal barrier.
As professional as she can, after asking for forgiveness for cursing, she also apologized for not being able to carry on with the song number as she felt so hurt.
Later on, while in the hospital, she Twitted: Nothings broken, no fluid in the lungs, just seriously sore.
Get well Pink!

Bahay Kubo, angelic version

Watching this video posted by a friend on Facebook sends chills down my spine..
The French Choir chose to give their angelic rendition of our Folk song Bahay Kubo in a choir competition in New York in 2007.
The pronunciation of some words might be off but their version of the song was too strong giving goose bumps anyone that hears it.

Get wiser

It is always being said that that jewellery is a wise form of investment. Instead of keeping your money in the bank which does not get a compensating interest no matter how big the balance that reflects in your passbook, try to think of some other forms of investment like business or just buy gold coins The United States Gold Bureau now allows for delivery or for convenient and safe storage at any bank or depository of your choice.
Gold procurement has been known for ages as one of the best forms of investment. Since the ancient times of Egyptians, Greeks and Romans, man has placed a mark in terms of fondness of gold and now the beauty of gold is being recognized for its proven ability to diversify investments, protect and for being able to preserve and intensify one’s purchasing power.

Lilo in serious trouble

Actress Lindsay Lohan has put herself again in bad lime light as she has been sentenced on July 6th for violating her probation. She has been sentenced to serve ninety days behind bars. While many has expected that it will all end here, the actress burst into tears as she verdict has been read. Lilo has been into controversial law violating acts such as DUI, drug addiction and alcohol abuse that gave her that unsightly anklet alcohol monitor.
If this would makes things lighter for her, the Los Angeles County’s Sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore stated that:
Women sent to jail for nonviolent crimes generally serve 25% or less of their sentence due to overcrowding. The exact time served can depend on the wording of the judge’s order and the level of overcrowding in the jails.
I hope that this will serve as wake up call for her.

A new venture on the way to recovery

The economy in my assessment although no longer plunges, has been stagnant for the longest. While we are still on the long road to recovery, we need to devise a plan in order to sustain.
Instead of whining, try to help look for a solution to the problem.
You can enrol to a some skills development program like cosmetology school.
I have checked the Jacksonville Cosmetology School operated by the Regency Beauty Institute. It has expanded to nine states across America operating in almost 30 campuses. Said campuses mirror upscale salons and provide exceptional education to benefit its students and the public.
They offer unique approach in providing cosmetology education to new markets.

Random but surprising encounter

My friend posted this very interesting video of an Aeta boy (a native in the central part of Luzon). He is serenading, I think, the road trippers with his rendition of the famous song of Colbie Calliat called Bubbly.
It its sreally surprising in a nice way that people no matter what race he descended from, could agree in one language and liking that is music.
Try to chill and listen to what this boy has to offer.

She is gone

I was the charge nurse that night.
We are preparing for her expiration as the doctor ordered to consume the ongoing dopamine drip. A part of her DNR (Do Not Resuscitate) order. Her family refused giving of medications, feeding via nasogastric tube and conduction of any other tests.
She was hooked to cardiac monitor to check on her cardiac rhythm.
Her dopamine drip was consumed.
At 10:00 pm the monitor showed widened QRS complex with cardiac rate spiking at 150s beats per minute and her blood pressure was 80 mmHg palpatory. Her pupils were dilated and non-reactive to light.
I was fighting my tears but I could not.
She totally lost pulse and heart rhythm became flat line.
At 11:06 p.m. she was pronounced dead due to multiple organ failure.
I began to sob when her son, an elderly doctor, told me: Your grandmother has left you already.
Mrs. C born on March 10, 1915 and died July 3, 2010 has lived her life to the fullest.
She was admitted on August 1, 2008 and has been in and out of the medical ICU.
We shall miss you Lola!

The sudden U turn, obeying the traffic rules...are these safe for P-Noy?

I learned on the news that right after attending the street party organized for him, President Noynoy Aquino made an unplanned pit stop at his favourite restaurant to have quick bite. Instead of turning right going to Time Street where he resides, his car headed straight to the next U-turn slot to get a tummy filler.
The video showed some of his escorts have made the right turn meaning they might be unaware of the plan.
While the media are all eyes on him, I do not think this move, although it makes him more human, is a brilliant move as it might jeopardize his security.
Also, in the first two days of his President duty, he took the usual traffic route, going with the traffic law stopping on red light signals. This made his Presidential Security Group or PSG extra jumpy as they opened their escort cars’ doors while on red light.
The traffic took toll on him as Commander-in-chief was 40 minutes late for his military honor appointment.
While I find it admirable some say that P-Noy is becoming a stubborn, not allowing himself to occupy the Malacanang Palace or the house they used to stay in Arelegui while her mother was still the president.
I hope that he will do something about the horrible traffic so that no one has to do the counter flow or use the wang-wang.

P-Noy: new hope or just one of them?

I came from the PM shift the other night. While on the bus on my way home, the Tv on board was showing live telecast of the then president-elect Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III on his way to take his oath as the new and the 15th president of the Philippines.

I passed through Time Street where he’ll be coming from and the feed showed that he is leaving his home.

I got excited. I thought he’ll be passing by Espana Bouleverd so I waited on the sidewalk in the corner of Espana blvd and Vicente Cruz St. Many people are also waiting for him. It took me 5 red light cycles before I gave up and headed home.

As I reached home, the “show” has jsut started with Charice Pempengco singing the National Anthem. Followed by so many musical numbers. I told to myself, am I watching a Sunday variety show? This is so showbiz!

It just came clear to me through the interview with historian Manuel Quezon III that according to tradition, the incoming president should take his oath at exactly 12:00 in the afternoon. It so happened that Noynoy came in too early that they had to fill in idle time to entertain everyone until the clock hits 12 noon.

Anyhow, with the help of my nieces, I was able to fight the calling of my bed and I was able to hear some of Noynoy’s platform which according to him is based on the people’s mandate.

I have little knowledge about the economics so I leave that part to the experts. All I care about is that he promised to focus on giving jobs to everyone so that no one has to leave the country and another is that he will not allow abusive officials to be the cause of traffic jam by prohibiting counter flow (of the traffic) and the use of wang-wang or the emergency vehicle alarm just to get ahead with the traffic flow.

The stage is now yours P-Noy, it is up to you to entertain and amuse or amaze us. Have it your way.
