Weekend Snapshots - Dakak

That's me and Gio goofing before we had our city tour.

Although my boy still aches from the road and air travel and from carrying a dozen of Spanish sardines, I could say that I enjoyed out Team Celebration Program this weekend. It was in Dakak, Dapitan City Zamboanga del Norte.

As I always say, I love the beach and I would trade the mountain for it. I don't mind getting a tan.
Apart from that, I enjoyed our dinner by the beach followed by the cultural show ala Luau.
Just for fun I joined the dancers doing the Hawaiian dance. I think this is where I got my body ache. Hahaha.
Gio here, who's a great dancer, was the one who first joined.

This was our all white night party.
More pics to come!

Weekend Snapshot - APhiO Trekkers

Today, March 2, 2008 (PST), we celebrate the Philippine founding anniversary of Alpha Phi Omega. A collegiate organization founded on the principles of Leadership, Friendship and Service. This was my second family in college. I'm glad that the alumni association is also active.
In commemoration of this, I decided to post some pictures of our organization's Mt. Pulag hike happened in December 2006.
Mt. Pulag is the Philippines' 3rd highest mountain.

Once I have mastered the art of packing lightly, I will be joining them.

Weekend Snapshots 22- Puerto Galera

The week before last, we had our victory party in Puerto Galera, Mindoro Occidental.
It was my first time in Galera and it was also my first time to ride a banana boat and it was really fun especially the part that we were trying to fight the speed boat driver's attempts to toss us off the banana boat.
We were too amateur because we were thrown out of the banana boat twice in the deep part of the sea. Just click on the pictures to enlarge.

It was fun!
