I was browsing through our corporate website yesterday and I found out that there’s our branch in Baguio City (where I finished college) is in need of frontline officers. It just crossed my mind, what if I transferred there? Suddenly, I missed the city where I grew up emotionally and I would like to believe psychologically.

I miss college life. Those sleepless nights we had preparing for our broadcast productions. How we embraced to be goofs improvising sound effects when there are limited resources just to please our professor.

Students and production crew nowadays are very lucky because they could readily Download Sounds from the internet. Categories now not just limited to animals or insects or thunderstorms. The horizon has been broadened from interface sounds, natural ambience to transitions and movements upto Sci-Fi and fantasy.

These sounds are mixed in genius fashion so it appears pretty natural and at some point enigmatic.

Yay, so I got carried away, because I tried the free ElectroRock sound. It’s a combination of Rock elements combined with Electronic dance music. It’s really cool!

Global warming really makes the summer hotter.
With the heat so unbearable, my nieces took a "plunge" in the make shift tubs.

Freaky Sunday

I don't know if it's hilarious or hideous. It was my gazillionth trip to the comfort room to empty my bladder in the office today. To reach the CR from the operations floor you have to pass though a swinging door and a glass door. The latter requires an ID to get in or out. Once the door is opened, it should be closed in a minute or so otherwise it would alarm. So as i tapped my ID to the sensor, the door clicked and as I pushed the door, it was removed from the hinge! OMG!
I was holding onto the doorknob and I can't let go because the door will fall. Then the alarm went off. I was holding the door, the high-pitched alarm is defeaning me and my bladder was about to explode. Just imagine the look in my face. I want to cover my ears, I want to sit down but I cant let go of the door.
No one's passing by so i cannot call for help. The people in the pantry nearby didn't seem to hear the alarm. Thank goodness someone finally passed by after five minutes. I asked to call the guard for help.
So I got a handful of people holding the door for me which was still attached to the last hinged. It cannot be pushed or let go of.
Alas, the utility man came after another couple of minutes and the rest is history.
I was able to make it to the loo, okay? I have a good bladder control.
I just had to let a few minutes pass before the tinnitus fade.

This time piece has been around since circa '40s and it still works. Time indicated there how late Mitch went home from chillin' out with friends.



The last two were taken from the office window on May 1.
May 1 is a non-working holiday for "normal" people. It's Labor Day. The time of the year dedicated to Filipino laborers and they are given a day off from work.
Since call center dudes are not "normal" we were in the office.
May is supposed to be summertime but it rained.
And another thing, it's a belief that the first rain in the month of May cures so it's the most awaited time of the year for the old folks who want to get healed. Either they frolic in the rain or just catch some water from the sky or from the gutter and make use of it.
