Cook got Archie served

My first time to watch Idol Season 7 was the Mariah Carey week.
I got wowed by the bartender from MO.
Since then, I catch up on Cook's performances on YouTube and it's only him that I watch.
This morning, I slept as usual at 2:00 am. Since it's Thursday, I got up at 4:30 am for the early morning church congregation.
When I got home at 7:00 am, I got a text from Tim that Idol judgment day is on.
I turned on the TV just to see the show. I knew that Archie's gonna win based on the trend of votes and the "sweep" comments by the judges.
Then my heart dropped as Seacrest announced that Cook is the last man standing!
I don't know but when Cook sings, I feel the connection. His sincerity that he loves what he is doing.
I guess, I won't be seeing him in my country anytime soon. Archie perhaps.
Cheers to DC!
Long live the rockstar emo cowboy! Catch him shuffle with ZZ Top here.

David versus David

Crowd’s favorite (Archuleta from Murray, UT) and the Idol Mean guy’s man (Cook from Blue Springs, MO) are the last two men standing on Idol's 7th Season Finale.
I know Cook must win for the love of emo.
But somehow I’m wishing and hoping that this highly talented bartender/musician/cowboy gets booted out.
For some selfish reason.
Idol rejects or losers have been doing mall shows here in the Philippines. Started by Bo Bice followed by Elliot Yamin and a handful more. The latest was Daughtry. But come to think of it there’s one AI winner, (shoot I forgot his name, the one that resembles Jay Leno and the one who beat Katharine McPhee.) who did a mall tour here.
Anyhoo, I am thinking that if Cookie lost to Archie, he’ll settle with mall tours in the third world. And it’s my only chance to see him in person!
I’ll give him my xoxo.
So to my blogger friends in America, please vote for Archie. Make it Archie as Cookie so that Cookie will be packing his bags and set off to my country and then we can get married!

You had me not at Hello

Yeah he sang Hello which is I kinda like because of the emo touch but he did not have me there.
I don't watch this season's American Idol because I do not have time.
I was just intrigued when my officemate told me to go and watch David Cook's rendition of Always be my Baby.
Yeah, he had me there!
My first time to see him. He looks good with well kempt hair. I don't like his troll hairstyle. But I like his fashion sense. For a not so tall and not so lean person, this bar tender from Blue Springs, MO could pull off a hip cowboy rockstar!
I heart you David!
