The Dark Knight

I have vowed to make delayed gratification until my most-awaited "Body Shots" competition is over.

I have mentioned about me watching The Dark Knight which has started to be shown here since July 17th. I heard that it has surpassed the box office record of Spiderman 3 and it has been confirmed that it has reached over $200 million (jeez I can't even write to figure correctly) in ticket sales in just 5 days of being shown in the US alone.

Wow!

I am really excited. Maybe by the time the competition is over, I will be in the moviehouse alone watching this flick. As if it were a special screening.

Haha!

Kudos Heath!

Do I smell an Oscar?

Wicked!

This is the latest and I think the last film of Heath Ledger.

This first 5 minutes of The Dark Knight made my heart race.

I am not a movie house person and I am really running against time fulfilling my deliverables but I must watch this reel. For the the love of both me and Heath!

It's showing here July 17th.

Can't wait.

The closure to the Knight's Tale

The New York medical examiner announced Wednesday that Heath Ledger died from the effects of taking six types of painkillers and sedatives - prescription medications not illegal drugs.

"We have concluded that the manner of death is accident, resulting from the abuse of prescription medications," the New York City Medical Examiner's Office said in a statement.

"Mr. Heath Ledger died as the result of acute intoxication by the combined effects of oxycodone, hydrocodone, diazepam, temazepam, alprazolam and doxylamine," the statement said.

The drugs are the generic names for the OxyContin painkiller, the anti-anxiety drug Valium, Xanax, an anti-anxiety drug, and the sleep aids Restoril and Unisom. Hydrocodone is another name for Vicodin, a painkiller.

Kim Ledger, the actor's father, said in a statement released Wednesday that the family was humbled to be "among millions of people worldwide who may have suffered the tragic loss of a child."

"Few can understand the hollow, wrenching, and enduring agony parents silently suffer when a child predeceases them," he said.

He said the toxicology results should "put an end to speculation" about the cause of death.

"While no medications were taken in excess, we learned today the combination of doctor-prescribed drugs proved lethal for our boy," Kim Ledger said. "Heath's accidental death serves as a caution to the hidden dangers of combining prescription medication, even at low dosage." (Yahoo! news)

My hear still goes out to his family especially to her little girl, Matilda.

Goodbye my Knight

Heath Ledger 1979 – 2008

I loved him in A Knight’s Tale.
He danced very manly. I have this thing for wifebeater looks.
Wifebeater in the sense that they look tough on the outside yet soft in the inside.
I was shocked to learn about his death.
Police suspects OD of drugs specifically prescription and OTC meds. I’m not surprised but I’m hoping it’s something else. Celebretards are celebretards. Popping pain killers and meths is part of their lives. Apart from suffering from body morphism which is common among women and alcoholism. DUI charges seem to be their crowning glory.
His other hit movies include The Patriot, 10 Things I Hate About You, Monster's Ball and Brokeback Mountain.
His effective portrayal of a gay cowboy earned a nomination to the Oscar. "Brokeback" would be his breakthrough role, establishing him as one of his generation's finest talents and an actor willing to take risks.
He moved me in this movie. Although I must admit it took me two attempts to finish it because I’m not used to seeing 2 men making out.
I feel so sad. I really am.
He left behind his 2-year old daughter Matilda with actress Michelle Williams.
To you Heath, my you find peace that you have been longing for in our Father’s arms.
