The trick is getting old

There is a new batch of orientee in our ward. This means that I am no longer considered new but still have not wrapped my mind around the whole bedside nursing thing. Just this morning, my shift was supposed to end at 7:00 a.m. but I ended up going home at past eleven. I wish I could keep up.
Just when I thought that I was able to accomplish my tasks, it occurred to me that I forgot to finish the chart of one patient. Now I have to sprint back to the hospital.

The divine favor

My probationary status at the hospital will not allow me to go on paid vacation leave but I will be given a chance, I would rather be on the beach feeling the serenity of the soundwaves rushing through the big rocks on the shore. I imagine myself in the hammock feeling the cool breeze on my face.
Actually, I am thinking of romantic vacation riviera maya on Riviera Maya beach. It is among the resort collection called Karisma. True to its meaning, divine favour, Karisma offers its own surprising indulgences and the elite level of service that makes a vacation truly relaxing. Adding to it is its luxurious accommodations invigorating entertainment and the incomparable service that responds to discerning travellers’ requests. Truly Karisma Resorts become the first all-inclusive properties to focus on individual experiences for the affluent.

Getting the hang of it

It is almost two months since I was hired at this hospital and I could say that I can now wrap my mind around the sudden alteration in my job description and lifestyle.
I have adjussted to the physical demand of the work and I could now somehow strategize on managing my time.
Right now, I no longer feel nervous or think that I am the underdog when I handle level 2 patients or difficult cases. Yes, I still stay for about 2 hours after my shift but it is more relaxed.
I am still working on squeezing all the tasks within my 12-hour shift. I enjoy my work. I do not feel tired until I get home.

Casinos Online

I used to think that gambling in casinos is only for the rich (not necessarily famous. Back in the day, people need to dress up appropriately just to get in any casinos. Recently, I have found out about casinos online online that gave casinos a new name. They allow for players to download and try their games and let them rate instantly. These ratings serve as guide to the best online casinos, poker rooms and gaming sites on the web. This only means that you will be served with only the best and the top of the line online games. Browse on the reviews or gets instant ratings. The play up set up is dynamic as it answers to the call of its patrons. Online casinos give choice whether people want to play a flash or downloadable version that help create an atmosphere of a real Vegas casino. A feel of tripping in Vegas that is.
The power of technology is palpable as it allows the people to choose the games that suite them better while enjoying them right at the comfort of their homes. Security wise, the online games are members of Curacao Internet Gaming Association (CIGA). These assure that the online games offer honest and secure service.

Pink is hot!

While I rejoice for Taylor Swift's triumph in the recent Grammy's, I cannot still get over Pink's performance on the said awards night.
I literally held my breath watching her spin in the air on a piece of long fabric. I even gasped when she was dipped into fluid for a few seconds then brought up into the air again.

I hope she did contracted pneumonia or cold from that act. It was just funny to see her with a bandaid on her nose the day after the performance. Minor injury perhaps.

A new breed of Chinese show

I used to grow up watching Chinese cooking shows on Channel 9. We would make fun of how they cook that seemed to be unclean.
This lazy Sunday morning, having Destiny Cable as our cable service provider, I do not have much option for TV shows. My TV channel ended up on a local channel and it was showing Chi. The young female hosts were speaking Chinese and ended up speaking English and Filipino which awakened my interest. So I stayed tuned to see what it brings to the table.
It's a compilation of everything under the sun that speaks Chinese. From fashion, concerts, business, food and what have not. The topics are basically similar to regular local shows, the only difference is it focuses on Chinese community as its audience.
It's a good show.

Old habbits die hard

The new year has landed and as I promised myself, I will eat healthy. I will go back to organics and greens but wait, I will have to make the final curtain call to my old bad eating habits.
I chugged in the irresistible coke and shoved handful of cheese curls down my throat. What a relief. This is the life that I will surely miss. I could still have my cheat days, right?
